Ken Cromeans Ministries is a Disaster/Crisis Assistance Chaplaincy Ministry composed of trained - experienced volunteers who are regularly called upon by Local and State Authorities to assist with the wide-range needs of those who have suffered a great loss due to the crisis or disaster. From assisting with bereavement and funerals to support benevolences. KCM desires to be ready to serve where we can. Our involvement will be to be ready based on called-out needs. You may ask, "What is the difference between a 'crisis' and a 'disaster'? Our response is, "It may be a crisis to all others until it affects you personally, then it becomes a disaster."
In order to embrace the possibility of disaster, plans are developed to utilize Chaplains to match their service preferences to available time. The Chaplain opportunities are:
- On-call for local location areas (community)
- On-call for disaster response or critical incident only (local, statewide, all 50 US States and the US affiliated islands.)
- To comfort, counsel and assist individual person needs.
- To encouragement maintain unity and integrity of every individual and family.
All KCM Chaplains must affirm their Christian faith. They must have at least five (5) years of experience in their field of expertise and pass a criminal background check completed by proper authorities before being considered as one of our chaplains. Then they will be schooled and trained by classes provided by authorities in their local area. A photo ID badge will be issued by KCM.
Future plans call for increasing our association and networking with other churches, charities, ministries, business and organization to better grow and bridge our relief efforts.
